Masters of Dirt – Graz
Shows in Graz were really awesome ! Less riders than in Vienna but the crowd made it amazing…So much tricks, such a high level of riding ! It was really big days : big riding, big stupid actions and big parties, thanks to the MOD crew for that ! Dublin be careful, here they come…Check out the video from the show ! Old school, Slayer powered, non-stop tricks….BOUM !
MOD-day 1&2-little pics
Yesterday was the arrival of all riders at the Vienna’s venue. After a nice dinner, it was the MOD DVD premier which was pretty cool. This Friday, the real game was starting with first training. After the final touch on different jumps, as for FMX or BMX/MTB, riders showed up and start warming up…Sick session actually and i can’t wait to see the show tomorrow night. I don’t say anything more as you’ll find soon a video online on the MOD’s youtube, facebook, website and here, of course…Find some little snapshots after the drop… (more…)

LEAFcycles is about to release its fixed line and it’s pretty sick ! Actually they already put online a dedicated website that you can find here : www.leaffixed.com Check this out, bikes are going to be available around March, so perfect timing to enjoy a sweet ride on a new bike during when snow would have desapeared from our streets…

Actually it’s hard for me to compare this year’s WhiteStyle edition and others simply because it was my first time here. And i have to assume that i was pretty impressed. Not that i was sceptical, but i was only thinking about a slopestyle on snow, i mean, you kow, snow isn’t dirt…But i was totally wrong as snow is super hard, and do not accept crashes. Cedric Gracia teams up with O’Neal but….which frame he gonna ride ?
So Cedric Gracia will ride for next 3 years with O’Neal. One more brand added to OAKLEY, PANARACER, EL GALLO, VALLNORD BIKE PARK, MAVIC, SELLE SAN MARCO, HOPE, ROCK SHOX, SRAM, LEZYNE, MRP, A2Z, LEATT BRACE, PEDRO’S, X1 RACING SUSPENSION, CAT EYE, JAGWIRE, PRE-SPORT, FREELAP… already supporting by the Flying french man and his Brigade.
Only one question remains, now that his set-up is pretty done…which frame he gonna ride. Rumors were going crazy since RocD’Azur and few names as SantaCruz and so on were said. Last one in date : SUNN. With ACC going back to the brand too, it could be a real cool story. For sure that Cedric will not ride for the Sunn Team has it is already done, but maybe a frame only deal would be the answer…just wait and see…

“A Day in Philadelphia” with Tom LaMarche + new Charge “Lazy Suzan”
Long time that i haven’t posted something about fixed-gear. Actually, i was quite bored by the whole “freestyle” thing. Didn’t really see the point to do street riding on 700cc wheels, 2.3 tires with a fixie….and bikes are looking more and more like mountainbikes or BMX cruisers…i’m missing style, flow, speed…
But it’s just my opinion. I don’t know if this feature on the CHARGEbikes website is old or not, but i really liked it. Nice pics from Paul Bliss and good riding and style from Tom LaMarche. So enjoy it ! I also put after the drop a new video featuring the “Lazy Suzan” city bike model, want one for my girl ! (more…)

Cannondale’s concept female city bike.
Wytze Van Mansum did this concept bike with the help of Cannondale. Beside the fact that i think the bike looks really good, i’m really jealous of not being able to ride with a one like this, in a male version, through the city. White Style 2010 in Leogang.
The Fifth WhiteStyle Slopestyle Contest in Leogang will occur next January on the 29th. First contest of the season, for sure ! Canyon “Stitched” ltd Tibor.
CanyonBikes is back again with a new limited edition of its 4X/dirt frame, the STITCHED. After the Rob-J limited model with Vans some months ago, it’s Tibor Simai’s turn to choose and work on a proper design. Nice work.
