“Taxi driver” pics on TSY.
One more time, The Selvedge Yard posted an amazing article with some great pics (where does he find all this stuff ???) of Taxi Driver’s set. Famous movie with an asthonishing Robert DeNiro and some unforgetable sentences. I can’t say enough good things about TSY, this website is a pure source of style. I just put three pics below because you really HAVE TO check this website. More pics here.

Nick Brandreth’s photography
I had the chance during my trip to Claymore Challenge to meet with Nick Brandreth, the hyper-active guy behind Thrashbike.com . Despite the fact that Nick is filming (check the video section on thrashbike), he’s also a really good photographer. You really have to go on his personal website to check all his galleries (love wrestling pics…). Find below a sneak preview of his work…

MountainStyle in Châtel-day2
Today was the first run for all riders, pros as amateurs. Nobody hits the big drop, and due too a huge rain storm, the second run had to be cancelled. So for the moment, top 3 is :
1- Bearclaw
2- Agassiz
3- Antoine Dubourgnon (with a huge flip cork on the step-up jump)…
Hope the good weather gonna come back tomorrow for the Finals. Find below some little action/lifestyle pics as well as the sweet 3-6drop from Darren.

First snapshots from Châtel
Yeah, first day in Châtel for the 2010 MountainStyle contest, 1st big mountain FMB WT contest. As we expected it, all big names from the Freeride scene are here, Pierre Edouard Ferry, Bearclaw, Semenuk, Zink, Agassiz, McCaul bros, Kinrade, Romaniuk and so on….everybody !
Basically today was a practice day, and one word came out of the mouth of riders ” BIG”. That’s right, the course is even gnarlier than years before, a 11 meters drop is for the moment still virgin, but not for long. Due to big rains from yesterday night, the course was very muddy and slippery so all riders were pretty mellow at the moment.
When everybody was starting thinking riding a bit more the course, the f……g rain came out again, and one more time, all riders left the place to go back to Châtel. Hope the good weather gonna please us tomorrow a bit. The “Face” looks sick, and i can’t wait to see all of those sick riders going down on it ! Keep posted !
