T-mobile Playground by David Ulrich
Every year a sick contest is going on in Duisburg : the T-Mobile Extreme Playground. Two categories, BMX and MTB, for each category, a “versus” format, two riders opposed and the best one advance one step further. Martin Södertröm took the victory in MTB, and Anthony Napolitan won the BMX contest. You can go on Freecaster.tv for some video actions, pretty sick contest.
German photographer David Ulrich was covering the event and put out some pretty nice stuff, check this out below. Enjoy !!!

Due to the now super famous volcano (or thanks to ), some riders were forced to stay a little bit more around Vienna after Vienna Air King, simply becasue they could take their plane to go back home. It was the case for Martin, Linus and Sam who join Niki Leitner back home in Vienna. Perfect occasion for a little riding session @Niki’s place, the Dirt Garden. Luca Leonardi from Basil&co Studio, Barcelona, hooked me up with their last work on Bernat Guardia. Having been closed to him during my times at COMMENCAL, i can really tell you that Bernat is hell of a rider and he really has the respect of everybody. He’s the mellow kind of guy who killed it once he puts his helmet on ! Fast rider, great style, i’m stoked to show you Bernat’s riding. This video is really cool and allow you to spend some time with one of the best rider in the world, shredding his local DH trail, riding his BMX or just jumpin’ around on a dirt trail. Same weekend as Vienna Air King was the WRT, a french slopestyle tour. Mathieu Poussou from the FeelFrame collective hooked me up me some really cool pics. I’m really glad of it and i look forward to work more with them on some LowFi projects ! Nice work ! Check out their website, good stuff !
Just for the story, LowFi’s riders were over there and they placed pretty good with Tony Rocci taking the second place and Thomas Bibiloni the fourth one ! Congrats mates !
First FMB World Tour ranking !
Here’s the first FMB World Tour ranking after the first stop in Vienna.
FISE is coming on….
FISE organiser are pretty happy ! Beside having one of the biggest event in France, they joined the FMB World Tour as a Silver event.
Adding this to their growing line of riders coming, including : Lance McDermott, Sam Pilgrim, PIerre Edouard Ferry (designer/builder of the track too !!!), Yannick Granieri, Mike Montgomery, Jakub Vencl or Kelly McGarry, the FISE will be proudly supported also by YTbikes (Young Talent) who will offer three bikes to the best rookies qualifying for the final. Vienna Air King-Results and pics
VAK 2010 was really good ! Like in a good Hollywood movie, with sun, rain, crashes and big tricks, screaming crowd and a lot of tension…Here’s the results of the Vienna Air King 2010, it was really tight between Sam and Martin as they both rode super good, with doublewhips, 3-6 double whips, flair and footjam work…but it can be only one king and this year it’s Sam. Congrats to all riders who came from Poland, Czech Republic and so on for the impressive level of riding…Video soon.
