So you think that dirtjumping contests are always the same. I think that Markus Hampl and his crew, building jumps for 26TRIX in Leogang have heard you and here it is. J-2 Days of Thunder 2009
We’re leaving tomorrow for Norway. Can’t wait to be in Hafjell already, it’s going to be sick.
Don’t know if i’ll have time for updates but for sure i’ll try to do as much as i can.

I spend my last 2 weeks making the line ” les vallons” a single trail with seven wood stunts on it. The trail is on a steep hill and the berms are really closed so its kind of technical…i rode it the whole week i had good fun on it…Last week-end was “the mondial du vtt” in les 2 Alpes, it’s an french mtb meetings for a famous race who start on the snow and there is also a moutain bike village with a couples of brand who present the new product and you can also try the new bikes.. Berlin Alley Cat Race
Fixed bikes are getting bigger and bigger everyday and, as always, Berlin is up on the forefront of the movement. Keirin cycle shop, organised an AlleyCat on the 29th of May. If you don’t know what a AlleyCat is, just imagine a race for bike messenger and you’re not that far….Check out the results and some pics here….give an eye to the sponsor list, quite interesting ! SCOTT on AIR @WILLINGEN FESTIVAL
Last weekend i had the chance to be in Willingen, Germany for the Spandex bike Festival, quite a nice name…
Anyway, Timo was organizing a dirtjump contest for SCOTTbikes, SCOTTonAIR. Amir won, Marius got the second place. Pretty good level, sick tricks even if the wind was really not helping out !

Hafjell Bikepark-Norwegian sweetness…
If you searching for a place that will really amaze you, for the riding and for the landscape, do not hesitate, take some good friends, your bikes and go ride at Hafjell Bikepark in Norway. Close to Lillehammer, this resort is one of the best riding spot in Europe. Lot of singletrails and sweet dirtjumps. But the best part of the show is for sure the endless nights, amazing sunsets, so sweet…
For those of you who don’t know, this is where Days of Thunder are organised, so yeah, all the fucking amazing pics that you saw from that event were made in this resort….Go pack your stuff, it really worths it !!!!! And check the Hafjell’s website for all infos about accomodations and else.
“IN B FLAT” experience
Check out this pretty cool experience called “In B Flat” made by some contributors on YouTube. You can play all or some of the videos and adjust the sound. This collaborative experience is one of the sickiest thing i have seen made with YouTube as a tool and no more as a boradcaster….pretty sweet.

new iPhone 3Gs
I assume that i’m a geek. Always been a big fan of the Blackerry, now i have to admit that the new iPhone 3Gs has some pretty good features ; 3megas autofocus camera (choose the point to focus on by typing the screen…), video (portrait & landscape ), cut/copy/paste function….and so on. Check everything here. Released June the 19th….
