Sometime in life, some people are always coming back to your mind. You grow up, learn, discover new things, and some artists, or personnalities are always here, into the radar zone. Shawn Mortensen was exactly that kind of guy to me. His work followed my steps for more than 20 years now. From the first hip-hop star pictures, rockstar like Henry Rollins, movie star like Vincent Gallo to Supreme shooting and so on, Mr Mortensen went through all my evolution. Kind of a guru without meeting him. Now that he’s no more with us, i found some new pictures that i really loved, and it was his eye again behind the lens…True deep respect to this legend, to this artist, to this life-lover, to this man…V
