ROB-J VANS signature bike
My friend Rob-J just send me some pics of his new pro-model with CANYON. Yesterday i show you the work of Oakley with C100 studio, the same studio is back in the game with this collaboration between Canyon and Vans (Hell Yeah !). This bike is really awesome and the design job is sick… Hey Rob, i want one. Find after the drop plenty of pics of this new killer looking bike and some words of Rob about it. “I had the idea to make a limited VANS Dirtbike in cooporation wit Canyon. Both Companies been stoked and so i started working on this project. but i did not want just a simple Vans Sitcker on a canyon bike – so i hired the famous streetartists Christian Hundertmark (C100) and Clemens Baldermann (The Purple Haze) for graphics and artwork.
Check out the detailed graphics. It has Vans typical Elements in it – like checkerd flags, the waffle sole and logos. The decals have an scratched effect – very unique and very nice in detail. The Artwork includes also some personal things of me – like the design in the fork: on one side there is Prague and aon the other is Munich. So there is really a lot of interesting things in the design. And its also a typical C100 and Purple haze artwork.
Since this Bike is also my Signature model, Canyon and I want it built up with the same parts i ride. Spank and Acros have been so into this Project that they made it possible to spec the bikes with their super nice exclusive parts.
The bike comes with a Marzocchi DJ 1 Fork – special Design also by the Designers; Spank Tweet Tweet Rims, Bar, Stem and Seat; Acros AH-06 Headset and Seatpost; Atomlab GI Cranks; Formula Oro Bianco Discbrake, ODI Grips and Schwalbe TableTop Tires.
And now the best: The complete Bike costs 999,-Euros only and it comes with a special designed VANS Shoebag.
Due to the Raw finish every frame is unique and it also has a “number/type plate” which says what number of the 66 bikes it is. Like 11 of 66. “
